The wedding of Huong & Alex at Ville De Mont Mountain Resort – the highest-altitude mountain retreat in Vietnam – was a breathtaking union of two cultures, delicately interwoven in a setting of sublime natural beauty.
CHAPTER 1: ME BEFORE YOU
Welcome Cocktail & Movie Camping Night
March 21, 2025 – Hillside by the Valley, Ville De Mont Mountain Resort
On a poetic hillside overlooking the Mường Hoa Valley, bride Thu Huong and groom Alex began their wedding journey with an evening steeped in heartfelt emotion – a moment where beloved guests were invited to revisit the cherished memories of their youth. Beneath the golden glow of Sapa’s cool sunset, beside a crackling bonfire and under the stars of an open-air cinema, their “Night Back to Youth” welcomed loved ones with warmth and sincerity – a tribute to childhood friends and treasured family who had walked beside them through every chapter of life.
CHAPTER 2: SPRING DATE
Wedding Ceremony
March 22, 2025 – Tus De Liab, Ville De Mont Mountain Resort
At more than 1,600 meters above sea level, wrapped in clouds drifting gently over the Hoàng Liên Sơn range, Huong & Alex’s wedding at the Tus De Liab stage unfolded like a dream. Beneath the sunlight and mountain breeze, their love took on a sacred quality.
The bride appeared graceful in a traditional Korean hanbok, the groom resplendent in a Vietnamese ngũ thân ceremonial robe. It was not simply a wedding, but a profound cultural symphony – a sacred meeting point of two heritages and two hearts, bound together at the summit of love and mutual understanding.
CHAPTER 3: US ON CLOUD 9
Following their heavenly ceremony at Tus De Liab, Huong & Alex continued their journey of love with an intimate dinner celebration, aptly themed “Us on Cloud 9.”
At Sunset on the Rock Restaurant, the reception space was adorned with grand clusters of baby’s breath resembling soft clouds, gently embracing each table in a pristine veil of white.
CHAPTERS 4 & 5: LA LA LAND & CITY OF STARS
Music Night & Dance the Night Away
March 22, 2025 – Ville De Mont Mountain Resort
The idea for a music night named “La La Land” was lovingly envisioned by the bride, Thu Huong – a heartfelt message to her friends who are still on their journey to find love.
As night descended upon the mountaintop, the open-air setting of Dining by the Valley transformed into a scene of pure romance. Flickering candlelight intertwined with the gentle strains of music, kindling hope for the very first dances – and for hearts not yet claimed.
And as the last candles gently faded, the music soared once more – brighter, bolder – with City of Stars, the vibrant after-party held at the restaurant’s private terrace. It was a moment to live fully in the present, to dance freely as their truest selves, surrounded by dear friends and cherished loved ones.
